Inspection tag
Eyewash station weekly check tag
Fifty two week activation grid. Sized for the standard eyewash bracket and legible at arm length in poor light.

What this is for
A weekly check grid rather than an annual one, because eyewash activation is weekly in most programmes. Fifty two boxes and a year block. The high box count is why this is card: you are replacing it annually anyway, so durability beyond twelve months is wasted spend.
In service
Hung on the eyewash bowl or the stanchion, in a room with corrosives - which means the air itself is the hazard. Card is fine here because the station is indoors and the tag is replaced annually anyway.
How it fails
The weekly activation is what fills this tag, and the failure is a run of blank weeks that nobody notices until an audit. A tag with four missing weeks is evidence of a gap, which is worse than a tag that was never hung.
Who fills it in
Usually the area supervisor rather than a specialist, weekly, straight after running the station until the water runs clear. It takes longer to find a pen than to do the check.
Common questions
How long does 13pt card stock last on emergency eyewash station?
Rated for about twelve months indoors, which matches an annual cycle almost exactly. It will not survive a wash down area, an unconditioned mechanical room, or a coastal exterior. Card that has gone soft or foxed is treated as no record at all, which is a re-tag visit you paid for twice. For emergency eyewash station specifically, the question to ask is where the units actually sit: the same stock behaves very differently in a conditioned corridor and in an unconditioned plant room.
What does TAG-EYE-CARD cost at my volume?
$0.32 per unit at 100, falling to $0.24 at 1,000 - about 25 percent less per unit at the top break. The full table is on this page and there is no quote step. The entry break is 100 units and the top break is 1,000. Per unit that is a 1.3 times difference, which is worth doing the arithmetic on rather than guessing: take your annual device count, add what you expect to add this year, add about ten percent for spoilage and re-tags, and order to the break that number crosses. Buying past it is buying storage rather than savings, and stock held for years is stock that outlives a licence renewal or a change of address.
How fast will TAG-EYE-CARD ship?
Production runs three to four business days plus transit, which is the fastest path on the site. Card and Tyvek print and cut in one pass with no cure step. You approve a print accurate proof before payment is taken, and that proof comes from the same engine that generates the file the press receives, so what you approve is what gets printed. There is no separate proofing round trip by email.
Do I have to use the serialization on TAG-EYE-CARD?
Each unit prints with a unique code and a QR. The first scan binds it to a device and a location; every scan after that opens the inspection form for that device type and writes a permanent record. The building owner and the authority having jurisdiction can scan the same code and read the history without an account or a phone call. If you never scan anything, the inspection tag still works as an ordinary one, so nothing is lost by ignoring the feature.
Proof approval, reprints and what happens if an order arrives wrong are the same for every product: how ordering works.
